Job Posting: Director of Professional Development

As the Director of Professional Development, you will use your prior success in a highly visible leadership role to connect with our team members, driving critical implementations and projects that define our business.

The Director of Professional Development can be based out of any U.S. city that is home to a major airport hub, as a travel schedule of 50% or more will be required.

Responsibilities

On-board, train, mentor and supervise service delivery team members
Provide evaluation of team members around procedures and protocol, service timelines, efficiency and effectiveness and performance against the objectives and standard that have been set for each client
Monitor consistency of delivery for adherence to the standard implementation models that have been established
Track on-site service time to ensure efficiency as well as effictiveness
Provide coaching, training, mentoring and critical feedback to the Instructional Specialists and Implementation Managers who are directly responsible for the delivery of service
Deliver stewardship reports at regular intervals to the school district stakeholders to show results achieved based on objectives
Monitor customer satisfaction as compared to the objectives set at the initiation of the relationship
Support the sales team in creating proposals based on prior experience
Provide reports to the VP of Product Development surrounding the overall productivity of the team
Facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all projects stay on time and within budget
Identify and eliminate roadblocks directly tied to communication breakdowns at any elvel
Serve as a pre-sales Subject Matter Expert for the sales team

Requirements

5+ years working a a Primary/Middle/ High School Environment as a School District Administrator or Manager of School staff in some capacity
Bachelor's degree with a Teaching License within a specific content area (Literacy, Math, Science)
Master's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Curriculum Development, Instruction or Educational Leadership
Prior work experience with an extensive travel schedule is a must

Prior success managing a budget for a multiple, concurrent projects
Experience overseeing team scheduling and resource allocation for a team of professionals as well as the complex scheduling of outside resources and client availability
Demonstrated ability of overseeing complex implementations which includes customer integration/ acceptance/ oversight
Proven expertise and oversight of service delivery quality – from implementation through to ongoing delivery of service
